This Estate Grown Petite Sirah is full bodied, flavorful and fruit forward. On the palate, this wine has lots of raspberry, chocolate, cola, and some toasty oak. It has very round tannins, and the acidity is well-balanced, creating a pure and smooth finish. This vintage will age beautifully for decades. This vintage of our Petite Sirah was fermented in 0.75 ton bins, manually punched down, aged in 44% new and 66% neutral French oak barrels for 20 months, bottled unfined and unfiltered Wine Enthusiast - "“Intense black-pepper, singed rosemary and charred beef flavors give this full-bodied wine quite an impact, even without the very firm fine-grained tannins. Adding them in, this wine is dramatic, impressive, mouthfilling but needs aging to grow into itself. Best after 2024.” - Jim Gordon"
